LZUFH Held the 3rd Global Vision Lectures

On May 9, The First Hospital of Lanzhou University LZUFH held the third Global Vision Lecture. This activity aims to introduce international advanced educational concepts and practical experience to help our staffs and medical students improve their scientific research ability and scientifically plan their career development path.

Dr. Daniel Tian Li, Clinic Manager of Elisabeth-Krankenhaus in Essen, Germany, andOperation Management Consultant of LZUFH, was invited as the guest speaker. More than 250 people attended the lecture, including the vice president of Lanzhou University and president ofthe First Hospital of Lanzhou University, Prof. Li Xun, as well as heads of relatedadministrative departments, teachers and students. Dr. Liu Yatao, Director of the Office of Foreign Affairs, presided over the lecture.


In the lecture, Dr. Daniel Tian Li shared the advanced experience and practice on the training mechanism, growth path, research ability training, and lifelong learning ability training of medical students in Germany under the title of “Training of Scientific Research Ability and Development of Medical Workers in Germany.” In particular, he emphasized Germany has attached importance to and invested a lot in the training of medical research ability, introducing how Germany provides multi-dimensional support and guarantees for scientific researchers by establishing research centers and platforms.

Dr. Daniel Tian Li’s lecture was detailed and innovative in content, offering a valuable German example for improving one’s scientific research ability and planning his career development path, which triggered warm responses and in-depth thinking from the audience.
