The Prevention of Antimicrobial Resistance in Critically Ill Patients Seminar was Successfully Held

On October 28, 2022, the First Hospital of Lanzhou University - Moscow Multidisciplinary Clinical Center “Kommunarka” conducted online and offline discussions on the characteristics of medical education and research, international exchange and cooperation, focusing on the prevention and treatment of antimicrobial resistance in critically ill patients.
Dr. Bykov Andrey Olegovich, anesthesiologist-resuscitator, Moscow Multidisciplinary Clinical Center “Kommunarka”. Meng Wenbo, Vice President of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University, and members from Pharmacy Department, Emergency Department, EICU, Anesthesiology Department and other disciplines participated in this seminar.
Meng Wenbo, Vice President of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University, pointed out that Russia is a supporter and an important partner of China’s “the Belt and Road” initiative. This discussion on antimicrobial resistance of critically ill patients in hospitals not only broadened the vision of the participants, but also increased Sino-Russian friendship, which is the cornerstone of future exchanges and cooperation in the field of health care between the two sides.
Dr. Bykov Andrey Olegovich said that China is one of the most important partners of Russia, and the two sides have long and substantial exchanges and cooperation in the medical field. As a newly built medical center, Moscow Multidisciplinary Clinical Center “Kommunarka” is located in the capital Moscow, bringing together many outstanding medical experts and scientific researchers from Russia.
