Many research results of the Radiology Department of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University were selected into the 15th Congress of Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (ASCI), which was founded in 2006 and has held 14 consecutive annual conferences in many Asian countries, representing the academic level and development direction of cardiovascular imaging in Asia.

Hu Rui, a master student supervised by professor Guo Shunlin of Radiology Department, Chen Zixian, deputy chief physician and her undergraduate, liu Yuanyuan, submitted their papers entitled “Coronary Artery Aneurysms Complicated with Acute Myocardial Infarction and Microcirculation Disorder Detected by Spectral Computed Tomography”, “Sub-aortic Complex is a Simple and Accurate Parameter to Predict the Existence and Severity of Hemodynamic Obstruction in Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy: A CMR and Doppler Study” and “pseudopseudopseudoaspire One year after Percutaneous Diagnosis Intervention Diagnosised by multimodal Imaging: A Case Report” respectively, and have been selected as poster presentation at ASCI conference. The above works shared the latest clinical research on cardiomyopathy and clinical manifestations of rare heart diseases.

The Radiology Department of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University is the earliest imaging department established in Gansu Province. It takes the lead in carrying out a number of imaging technologies, representing the top level of medical imaging in this region. Being selected as poster presentation demonstrates that the academic level of Radiology Department has been recognized by international academic community, showing its splendor at the international top academic platform, and further enhancing the popularity and influence of the discipline.
