LZUFH, ERAS Society and Lausanne University Hospital Jointly Held the Second Online Video Seminar on

    On March 3, 2022, the First Hospital of Lanzhou University (LZUFH), together with ERAS Society and Lausanne University Hospital jointly held the Online Video Seminar on ERAS Practice of Liver and Pancreas Surgery (phase II). Professor Nicolas Demartines, chairman of the ERAS Implementation Program, executive chairman of ERAS Program of Lausanne University, Ms.Valerie Addor, instructor of ERAS training program, Christina Chuck and Mr. Jia Lanmin of Wilkris, Li Xun, president of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University, Zhou Wence, vice president of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University, as well as members of liver and pancreatic ERAS practice and research team attended the meeting.

    In July 2020, based on the ERAS practice and cooperation foundation in the early stage, the First Hospital of Lanzhou University joined the ERAS Society and worked closely with ERAS Society experts, followed the authoritative ERAS guidelines and expert consensus at home and abroad, continued to optimize ERAS practice and improve the quality of perioperative diagnosis and treatment of surgical patients.


    In August 2021, the two sides signed the first ERAS Training and Implementation Agreement for liver and pancreatic surgery in China, and were authorized to use ERAS Societys Chinese version of ERAS Data Interactive Audit System to cooperate in the implementation of ERAS data evidence-based quality control and clinical research.

    After the first stage of online program training, clinical practice, problem-oriented ERAS team MDT discussion and data quality control analysis, the objectives of the first stage have been preliminarily completed. In order to continue to improve the compliance of ERAS practice guidelines and expert consensus, carry out high-quality clinical research and benefit more patients, the second round of seminar was held as scheduled. The participating experts and personnel discussed and summarized the progress, achievements and problems of the first stage, and discussed ERAS clinical pathway and MDT for liver and pancreas surgery, hospital data management, analysis and application, and reach a consensus on the implementation objectives and work plan of the second stage.
