Recently, the awarding ceremony of “the 14th Selection of the Most Leading Chinese Hospital Leaders in 2021” sponsored by China Hospital President magazine was held in Changsha. Li Xun, President of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University, won the “Outstanding Contribution Award”.
As the president of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University, after the outbreak of the Covid-19 in 2020, Li Xun led the medical staff of the hospital to comprehensively fight the epidemic, as the leader of the scientific and technological research expert group of the joint prevention and control system construction project of Covid-19 infection in Gansu Province, led the First Hospital of Lanzhou University, medical institutions, internationally renowned guidelines and network informatization teams, closely followed the urgent needs of anti-epidemic treatment, and fully carried out scientific research on epidemic prevention and control, making important contributions to the use of science and technology of Gansu to fighting the epidemic.
After the outbreak of the Covid-19 in October 2021 in Gansu, Li Xun led the First Hospital of Lanzhou University to quickly assemble at the first time, sounded the clarion call of the “epidemic”, and bravely shouldered the heavy responsibility to play a series of “combination punches”, leading the treatment of the designated treatment hospital for Covid-19 patients in Gansu, taking over the Lanzhou Pulmonary Hospital to build a new crown rehabilitation hospital, transforming the Donggang Branch of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University into a designated hospital for the treatment of patients in Lanzhou, the closed-loop management of the emergency department of the hospital headquarters to ensure the treatment of normal patients, guarding the reserve hospital of Lanzhou New District, and winning the hard battle of “epidemic” in five main battlefields, overcame all difficulties, and wrote the victory answer sheet of anti epidemic in Gansu.
