On the afternoon of December 3, 2020, President Li Xun and his team conducted on-line Ward Rounds with Professor Helmut Friess and his team from Klinikum rechts der Isar, School of Medicine, Technical University Munich (TUM).

    At the meeting, both teams have conducted profound discussions on several cases involving the diagnosis and treatment of patients with idiopathic portal hypertension, difficult obstructive jaundice, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy-related biliary tract injuries. Centered on the hot and difficult issues encountered in the diagnosis and treatment of the above diseases, they extended the topic to the progress of international diagnosis and treatment of related diseases.

    The academic exchange has promoted mutual understanding, and laid a foundation for the further strategic cooperation between the two hospitals.
