On the afternoon of July 6, the First Hospital of Lanzhou University (LZUFH) and China Mobile Group Gansu Co., Ltd. (CMGS) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the construction of “5G+ Smart Hospital”.

    According to Li Xun, Dean of LZUFH, the establishment of a strategic cooperative relationship with CMGS marked the further progress of our hospital in the construction of a forward-looking, scientific and open 5G+ smart hospital, and also provided new models and solutions in the process of exploring and developing smart hospitals construction in Gansu Province.

    Chairman Lv Zongying said that the two parties will take this opportunity to work together and accelerate the integrative development of 5G smart medical care with the original aspiration of “jointly creating a win-win situation”, promoting the construction of novel infrastructure in the medical industry.

    It is mutually agreed that the two parties will promote the pilot construction and application of 5G smart hospital, promote 5G basic network coverage and dedicated network construction, and jointly make innovations on 5G services as well as applications such as smart wards, emergency rescue, medical teaching, and VR visits.
