Li Xun’s team created new international classifications of PAD in collaboration with Tanaka Kiyohito

Recently, a collaborative study conducted by the endoscopic surgery team of Professor Li Xun and the digestive endoscopy team of Professor Tanaka Kiyohito of the Second Red Cross Hospital in Kyoto has achieved breakthrough results. The study proposed new international classifications of PAD (periampullary diverticulum) and published online in the World Journal of Gastroenterology.
Professor Tanaka Kiyohito is a well-known Japanese gastrointestinal endoscopy expert. Professor Li Xun’s team began to cooperate with Tanaka Kiyohito’s team in 2012 and carried out a number of related researches in the field of digestive endoscopy. The two teams co-published several high-quality scientific papers and monographs. The publication of this research achievement marks a new level of long-term international cooperation between the two sides.
