Dr. Gew Lai Teck, an consultant from the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Kuala Lumpur Government Hospital, Malaysia, came to our hospital, one of the bases for “Belt and Road Friendship GI Endoscopology Express” and conducted a one-week ERCP “hands-on-hand” training program.

    He has conducted academic exchanges at the Department of General Surgery (Ward 2, Ward 5 and Ward 8) and other related departments. During the exchange, he participated in the first ERCP Diagnosis and Treatment Technology Seminar in Baiyin City with the ERCP team of LZUFH and delivered a special lecture on the development of gastroenterology and hepatology as well as endoscopy in Malaysia, which broadened the vision of medical staff in primary hospitals in our province, deepened the understanding on the current medical situation in Malaysia and expanded channels for further cooperation.
