My Akita Journey

During more than two-month learning, I have mastered certain surgical techniques related to kidney transplantation, and had a new understanding on the single-channel small incision in the lateral position. I also have an intuitive understanding of robotic surgery through learning robotic assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy. I am also particularly fortunate to have experienced the first robotic assisted laparoscopic left renal ureteral + partial cystectomy under the lateral position in the Akita area.
Half a month later, I still remembered the time when that operation was in trouble, Professor Habuchi and other doctors discussed and resolved problems together. During this period, I participated in the mid-year meeting of the Department of Urology of the Affiliated Hospital of Akita University and the Urology Department of Akita Prefecture, and participated in teaching exchange.
During the visiting, I found that every doctor here has their different characteristics, but they all have the same passion for medicine, serious responsibility for patients and work. Although we could not conduct profound communication for language barriers, I still learned a lot from them and I believe everything I have experienced here would be my wealth.
