Recently, Radiotherapy Department of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University adopted VAMT technology to treat a patient with brain metastatic cancer successfully.

    The 45-year-old male patient was referred to the radiotherapy department for lung adenocarcinoma with brain metastases. Based on patient’s condition, the department conducted multi-discipline discussion with physicians and physiotherapists, deciding to implement a VMAT radiotherapy plan. On January 7, the patient completed the radiotherapy without obvious adverse reactions. This is the first patient who received VMAT technology in the First Hospital of Lanzhou University.
