Petitions to fight against the 2019-nCoV

date:2020/1/28 16:56:05 hot:1534

In response to an ongoing outbreak of 2019 Novel Coronavirus, the First Hospital of Lanzhou University shouldered the responsibility as the provincial designated hospital and set up an emergency leading workgroup, with the Dean and Party Secretary as leaders, organizing medical treatment and logistics support at all levels and of all kinds to coordinate in the control and prevention of pneumonia.

The hospital has selected key medical staff to support the work of fever clinic and isolated wards, which demands quite heavy working intensity. The work mode here is 14+14+7, meaning specifically 14 days of closed work, 14 days of isolation, and 7 days of rest. However, none of them showed any fear or hesitation.

These actions also encouraged their colleagues to join in the team voluntarily. More and more medical staff took the initiative to sign petitions to ask for fighting against the epidemic. The hospital will take them as the reserve team in response to the development of future epidemics.

"It is our profession and we have an unshrinkable  responsibility to  perform our duties as medical staff."

"Stay true to our original aspiration and mission, protect  people's health, and take the initiative to fight at the moment when the people need it most."
