From October 11 to 12, 2019, the 32nd German-Chinese Annual Symposium was held at the University of Hamburg, Germany and the Vice President of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University, Zhao Da was invited to attend the conference and delivered keynote speech centered with trauma emergency treatment and cancer prevention research. The conference highlighted on the development trends and research progress of such fields as universal health-national public health strategy, national plan for first aid and disaster medicine, hospital management and patient safety, national cancer program and cancer treatment progress, national dementia plan, clinical pathway and medical quality as well as digital medical.

      In the section of “National Plan for First Aid and Disaster Medicine”, experts from Germany and China introduced Chinese emergency center and grid construction, European Model- trauma registration system of German and so on. Vice President Zhao Da presented the planning and progress of Trauma Center construction and trauma treatment system of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University and conducted extensive discussions and exchanges with the Chairman of German-Chinese Medical Association, top experts in the field of trauma emergency and cancer prevention research both in Germany and China, establishing extensive international exchanges.

      The keynote speech delivered by Zhao Da at the conference has expanded the influence of Lanzhou University and our hospital on the medical field in Germany and Europe, enhanced mutual understanding and widened the channels of international cooperation.
