From September 12th to 14th, 2019, Dr. Zhang Fan from the Department of Pharmacy of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University  attended the 3rd World Congress on Pharmacology & Toxicology in London and gave an academic report at the conference on the afternoon of September 13th. The conference invited many experts from different countries to highlight the newest findings in pharmacology and toxicology with the purpose of exchanging ideas and bringing together research scientists, academics, industry specialists, doctors, pharmacists and students of life sciences.

      At the conference, Dr. Zhang gave a speech about “The mechanisms and effects of the alterations of bile acids under the different pathophysiological conditions”, which was mainly associated with her studies guided by Professor Wu Xin’an. Besides that, her relevant works has received compliments and gained praise from the experts and the delegates at the conference.
